Results

Survey results will cover Inuit health and wellbeing and will be available for use by Inuit first. If approved by Inuit, results will also be shared and used by others, such as government policy makers and academic researchers. The information gathered in the QNIHS Nunavut will help decision-makers understand changes in Inuit health and make better health programs and policies.

Sharing the Findings

Once data collection is complete and the data has been analyzed, results will be shared with Inuit and Nunavut communities in the form of reports, fact sheets, infographics, and other communication materials. Results will also be shared on Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami (ITK), Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. (NTI), QNIHS websites and will provide regional, territorial, and national results.

To ensure that results are accessible to everyone, they will be available in dialects appropriate to each Nunavut region. We will host community engagement events where results will be shared, where Inuit and community members will have opportunities to review and interpret the data. Results will not include any personal or identifying information.
