Who we are
Qanuippitaa? National Inuit Health Survey Nunavut (QNIHS) and Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. (NTI) is looking for photographers to supply new stock photos.
Qanuippitaa? National Inuit Health Survey in Nunavut is designed, conducted, and owned by Inuit. The Inuit health survey is taking place across all communities of Inuit Nunangat, and NTI is leading the work in Nunavut.
Scope of work
NTI is looking to build up our photo library as we continue to create and promote the QNIHS in Nunavut. We are looking for photographers in all Regions of Nunavut to help us build stock photos for use by NTI. From landscape photos to working with individuals to provide portrait shots, action shots and other shots that would be suitable for the QNIHS.
Other items to note
- Ideally the photographers will have experience photographing both landscapes and people, in both indoor and outdoor settings.
- For indoor shots access to lighting equipment would be necessary.
- Ability to capture motion/video, that would be considered an asset.
- A shot list would be provided.
- Responsible to recruit individuals for portrait shots or action shot.
- Required to ensure that models are aware of the use of the photographs (and video)
- All images will be used for the QNIHS and would become property of Nunavut Tunngavik Inc.
- Nunavut Inuit photographers are encouraged to apply.
